On Friday February 16th-17th, many of the NVC family will be fasting for 30 hours. This is to pray for needs around the world and also to raise funds and awareness for our mission and ministry in El Salvador this summer.
We are seeking to raise $3000 to assist the Vision 2 Hear El Salvador Ministry which is working among the poverty stricken communities in Suchitoto. V2H ES is also in partnership with the Mission House Ministry which is assisting women who are stepping out of the world of prostitution and helping them learn life skills as well as sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The event this weekend will begin at noon on Friday and end at 6pm on Saturday. There is a gathering on Friday night from 6pm-9pm and then again on Saturday from 9am-6pm. Everyone is welcome to attend any portion of the gatherings for prayers and or activities. The sessions throughout the weekend will include worship, prayer and games.
